About V's Dessert

Most people don’t realize that, for some, indulging in a slice of cake takes courage.

It’s not about not wanting to—it’s about the questions that come first: Does it contain gluten? Is it safe? Will it make me feel unwell? 

While working as a chef in a hatted fine dining restaurant, where precision and attention to detail were everything, I notice these people often smile and politely decline dessert at the table. That’s when I realised something vital: for many, enjoying a dessert isn’t a choice—it’s a limitation.

That’s why I devoted myself to creating gluten-free desserts. It wasn’t a easy process—gluten-free baking isn’t a simple swap of ingredients. Many early attempts repetitively fell short or failed entirely.

But I refuse to accept that “gluten-free means compromise.” My desserts are meant to delight, so that people say, “This is truly fabulous,” not, “Oh, it’s gluten-free.”

I’m equally committed to simple and clean ingredients. At V’s Dessert we handcraft the products with natural ingredients and no added preservatives or chemicals. All desserts are prepared with strict care to avoid cross-contamination. We understand that for some, enjoying dessert isn’t just about indulgence—it’s a choice made with care and trust.

Over time, people began returning to share with us: “This is the first ever birthday cake my child could safely enjoy,” and, “Finally, I can eat without all the questions”. 

In 2026 we had the honor of being recognized as the National Champion at Royal Agricultural Society’s Dairy And Cheese Competition. That moment confirmed what I had always believed: creating desserts that are safe, clean, and truly delicious is a dream worth pursuing.
